The sailors are now beginning to ramp up towards the main event as too are the organisers. We now have drinks and toilet paper onsite (lucky Rob).
It is simply amazing how many sailors can drop centerboards and chip rudders! We have also had several bow and gunwhale repairs and the racing hasn’t even started yet! It is a good job that we have the services of Mr G (aka Marco in China) as we would be struggling with some of the more technical repairs.
All sailors have now collected their boats and are in the process of going through measurement. John Luc is doing a great job and the sailors appear to be very happy with the quality of the hulls.
The weather today was very sunny, blue sky with 10 knots. This is perfect conditions for melting whilst doing repairs. Tomorrow we will be highlighting the following:
• Some of the helpers we see (Zoe and Mr G)
• Sailor fridges
• Container of the day
